Bookmaker Slashes Odds On White Xmas In Ireland

Odds of a White Christmas this year in Ireland have been slashed by Paddy Power bookmakers.

The odds of snow falling in Irish cities is lower than it has been in years: Belfast (5/2), Dublin (3/1) and Cork (5/1).

iWeather Online’s Peter O’Donnell said: I am still calling for a winter storm setup to develop with the full moon event around 20-21 December, and the models continue to hint at a reload of very cold air from the north or northeast before that time period so it seems the chances are reasonably good for a white Christmas.
